I’ve always been fascinated by the interconnectedness of food, culture, nutrition, and chronic disease. I love working with people from diverse backgrounds and communities and helping them navigate diet and lifestyle changes that may often feel challenging to adapt. We live in a time where we are constantly inundated with advice when it comes to food and nutrition and despite the amount of information available to us, we are often left feeling overwhelmed and confused.
After working with many clients in the last 13 years, I strongly believe that nutrition is very nuanced and personalized. Food is social, cultural, emotional and pleasurable and should not lead to more stress, shame and guilt, which can be counterproductive and harmful to one’s overall well-being. My ultimate goal is to help you get back to basics and provide you with effective yet practical solutions that will help you meet your specific nutrition needs. In our coaching sessions, you can expect compassionate, non-judgmental guidance with respect to your health concerns, lived experiences, nutrition history, and personal life circumstances.

After living and working as a Registered Dietitian in New York City for over 9 years, I moved to Boston during the pandemic and continue to provide virtual nutrition care. I founded Nikita Kapur Nutrition with the very purpose to empower you with the tools and support you need to eat with confidence. I am a big foodie! To me food is more than just nutrition; it is joy, connection, satisfaction and a lens through which we can explore different cultures and their unique traditions.
Like many, I am also a busy parent often humbled by the challenges of balancing work and life. When I’m not working, I enjoy discovering local coffee shops with my husband Sid and experimenting in the kitchen alongside my little sous chef, our 3-year-old daughter Aaria. I’m also very interested in home design and styling and am often on the hunt for decorative souvenirs to add to our home.
